Draft Terms Of Reference – Special Environmental Impact Assessment (SEIA) For The Proposed Sino-Malaysia JV Forest Plantation At Kalabakan And Gunung Rara Forest Reserves, Tawau District,Sabah

Open for Public review from 21 August 2001 to 7 September 2001. 

This is to inform the public that the Environmental Conservation Department is in the process of reviewing the draft Terms of Reference [“TOR”] of the Special Environmental Impact Assessment (SEIA) report for the proposed Sino-Malaysia Joint Venture Forest Plantation at Kalabakan and Gunung Rara Forest Reserves, Tawau District. The joint venture partners are Innoprise Synergy Sdn Bhd, Lion Management Sdn Bhd and Fuxing Pulp and Paper Co Ltd.

Members of the Public are invited to give their written comments on the draft TOR of the SEIA report from 21 August 2001 to 7 September 2001.
