Client Charter
We undertake to provide efficient and professional service to our clients in our efforts to protect the environment. Our services are as follows:
1. Environmental Screening of Proposed Development Activities and Extraction of Natural Resources
Conduct environmental screening of proposed development activities and extraction of natural resources, and provide environmental inputs to the relevant authorities or project proponents within one (1) month from the date of receipt of complete information or documents on the proposed activities.
2. Implementation of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) System
i. Processing of Terms of Reference (TOR) of the EIA
– Evaluate Terms of Reference for Normal EIA and deliver a decision within twenty one (21) working days from the date of receipt of the TOR.
– Evaluate Terms of Reference for Special EIA and deliver a decision within sixty one (61) working days from the date of receipt of the TOR.
ii. Processing of EIA Report
– Evaluate a Normal EIA Report and deliver a decision based on the type of the activity within twenty five (25) or forty (40) working days from the date of receipt of the report.
– Evaluate a Special EIA Report and deliver a decision within ninety one (91) working days from the date of receipt of the report.
3. Investigation of Environmental Complaints
Take action on environmental complaints within seven (7) days from the receipt date of the complaint.
