1.1 BOUNDARY DEMARCATION AND MAINTENANCE

1. Demarcate every corner of the site boundary throughout the development phase as per the mitigating measure plan in the approved EIA/PMM and survey plan.

2. Mark site boundary using visible marker tools (e.g Wooden stakes, hoarding).

3. Notify all relevant personnel (workers, contractors, agents) not to tamper, remove or relocate the markers.

4. EO to inspect and monitor the site/setback/buffer boundary markers, conduct maintenance/repair where necessary.

NOTIFICATIONS METHOD:

  • Clearly state boundary marker tools in contract;
  • Erect signboards;
  • Conduct periodic awareness;
  • Display boundary on notice board
