KOTA KINABALU, 7 Julai 2023: Buku Handbook On Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) In Sabah (Third Edition) telah dirasmikan oleh Menteri Pelancongan, Kebudayaan dan Alam Sekitar, Datuk Christina Liew pada 15 Jun 2023. Susulan itu, Program Kesedaran Pemakaian EIA Handbook telah diadakan kepada Perunding Alam Sekitar yang berdaftar dengan Jabatan Perlindungan Alam Sekitar (JPAS) pada 5 Julai 2023 di Dewan Institute Development Studies (IDS), Penampang.<\/p>\n

Objektif utama program kesedaran ini adalah untuk memberikan kefahaman yang mendalam kepada semua perunding alam sekitar mengenai kaedah dan tatacara penyediaan Laporan Terma Rujukan Kajian EIA (TOR)\/Penilaian Kesan Alam Sekitar (EIA)\/Cadangan Langkah-langkah Pengurangan (PMM) yang betul dan teratur serta mematuhi sepenuhnya garis panduan sebagaimana dinyatakan dalam Buku Panduan Laporan EIA di Sabah (Handbook On EIA In Sabah, 3rd Edition) yang telah dikuatkuasakan pemakaiannya pada 1 Oktober 2022.<\/p>\n

Seramai 59 perunding alam sekitar dan 21 pegawai JPAS telah hadir dalam Program Kesedaran tersebut.<\/p>\n

Program Kesedaran ini diharapkan dapat membimbing perunding alam sekitar dan pihak berkepentingan lain dalam proses penilaian alam sekitar melalui penyediaan Laporan TOR\/EIA\/PMM yang berkualiti dan penuh integriti bagi memastikan sistem penilaian alam sekitar kekal sebagai alat yang relevan dan berkesan untuk perlindungan dan peningkatan alam sekitar di Sabah.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
